9/11

September 11,2001,it has been ten years since the attack by a terrorist group who hijacked an aircraft and intentionally crashed into the World Trade Centre Tower in Washington D.C. in the United States of America which killed almost three thousand people.

It seems like it was just a few days ago though years have past. It is sad to know that the orchestrator's were convinced that it was for a good cause never mind the lost, pain and anguish it has cause so many people directly or indirectly.

I was not personally pained but it had brought sorrow to my heart. It saddens me to know that these perpetrators were so passionate in the execution of this violent act. I asked myself, was this an act a cry for notice, for attention?  Well it did bring notice along with other things, it has brought about pain, suffering, mistrust and suspicion steered towards individuals, groups and organizations.

As an individual, I will not judge anyone base on their religion or affiliation but I will try to foster awareness in the affairs of world issues. I am aware that this incident has affected the Muslim's worldwide and the United States. It is my opinion ignorance breathes contempt, therefore the more we learn about human behavior the more we know that violence can be emanated from anyone. We need to be aware of our surroundings and be conscious of the signals that are exhibited.

I believe that the American Government will heighten their security and will try to sniff out any sort of threat that they feel may cause an outcome such as was experience in September 11, 2001

You're never too old to learn, each day is a learning experience. My name is Elpha Dee, I am a Behavioral Science Major. I am a mother and grandmother of one respectively. Communication is needed by all beings and being part of the human race which involves so many different personalities, the process is challenging at time but it is my desire to put my best foot forward.   

I am a polite and practical person who enjoys meeting new people. It is really not too difficult for me to meet a complete stranger and strum up a conversation with them. With that in mind I would rate myself on a scale from one to ten as a nine. I am not a perfect communicator but I am a friendly person who goes an extra mile to befriend and communicate with someone. I like to be understood and I also like to understand others even if we don't share the same opinion.

I am now contemplating learning 'Manderin'.
